All week long I had big plans to get in some good biking miles over the weekend. But, Mother Nature had other plans.

It rained Friday evening, not a big deal, because we went out to eat, and it was really good.
But Saturday, it rained all day, was cold and windy with north winds up to 30 miles per hour. It was a miserable day. No riding.

Sunday started out the same as Saturday, and the forecast called for 90% chance of rain. I was so bummed out, I finally said screw it, I'm going to ride in the rain.

As soon as I got out in the back yard, to my surprise, it stopped raining. I was feeling good and just kept riding. I got in my longest back yard ride ever with 18.15 miles on the Mukluk.

After riding the Mukluk, I went to Sabrosa for a yummy Burrito, and then watched the White Sox beat the A's 4-3.

Since it was now sunny and warm, I went out back for another ride. This time I rode my poor neglected Rush.
After getting used to the feel of the bike, I got in a groove and just kept riding.
I got in 12.30 miles for a total of 30.45 miles of singletrack today, with over 4 hours of riding time.
It's been a long time since I got in 30 miles or rode singletrack for 4 hours. Yeah, it was easy, flat singletrack, but it still felt good.
