| Weather Conditions: Gray skies, wet and muddy bike path, but no rain. My bike is a mess and I just don't feel like cleaning it yet. Temp was around 70°. And believe it or not, no wind to speak of. |
| Ride Description: The solid three days of rain actually stopped so I could get out on the last day of the month on my last personal day of the school year. Went to the end of Jingfu bike path and back. Stopped about 12 miles from home to change my flat front tube. A Chinese biker slowed up to see if I needed help, but I was almost finished so I thanked him and sent him on his way. A while later I caught up to him and drafted for awhile. Then I went around a slightly different way, got in front of him, and he drafted to the barriers. Got a big thumbs up when he went by since I had stopped for a water break. |
