| Weather Conditions: Started out high 60's, finished up high 70's. Pretty decent south south east wind, which slowed me down on the way home, but kept me from getting too dagblamed hot. Sky? Blue and sunny, naturally. |
| Ride Description: First metric of the year. Maybe the last??? Went to Fort McPherson Cemetery via Banner Road, then on to Maxwell. Came back on the highway because of the south southeast winds. Had to ride out past the cemetery and back to kick the mileage to the metric. Actually wasn't sure I'd make the metric, but as I neared town and saw that I only need 5 miles more, it was a pretty done deal. I like the accomplishment of the long distance, I don't like leaning on handlebars for that long of a time. Can you say 'bent? Yep, I knew you could. :) |
