Today I drove to Clevelnd Park to meet Ken for the Sunday ride. I was there I little early so I rode around some until I saw a bike at the starting point. Steve S was there and said that Ken asked him to lead the ride. We waited a bit then took off up the trail. I told Steve that I was only riding to Furman and back.. We headed up the trail with an uneventful ride. We were about to turn into the rest at Furman when I saw Bill D behind me. He joined in where I turned back, but he was only riding to Travelers Rest and would be driving home with his grankids. I turned back south and ran into Ken headed north about 2 miles down. If he joined them in Travelers Rest then Steve will have someone to ride back with. I rode back to the Cafe and stopped for something to eat. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a strawberry/pecan scone. I had an 8 ounce glass and drank 7 glasses of water. From there I rode through town to get back to the park. Something was just getting out at the Peace Center and the pedesrians were a serious hazard around it. The rest of the ride was uneventful.
