After work I rode from home on the Trek. I headed to Cleveland Park and onto the trail. I cut across downtown and got back on the trail at linky Stone Park. I was riding up the trail and after I crossed the tracks at Bramlett there was a 6 to 8 inch turtle on the trail. I turned back and scooted it across the trail onto the side. I rode on up the trail to Travelers Rest and turned back south. I rode down the tail and once I was south of Furman two guys started riding across my path, but they were riding just a little slower than I was. I passed them and they jumped on my wheel. I really dislike uninvited wheel suckers, but I took off and rode close to 2 miles at 19 to 23 mph with one about 6 inched off my wheel and the other about 6 inches off his wheel. At my size I can pull big riders easily and I pulled them down the trail. I pulled over at Suplphur Springs to get a drink and be rid of them. I had called Cis and Furman and we met at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. We ordered a brakfast pizza - fresh sausage in alfredo sauce with kale and three cheeses with three eggs cracked oonto it when it comes out of the oven. We also had a strawberry/kale salad with vinaigrette , broken almonds and feta cheese and strawberry tarts. I love strawberry seson at the cafe.
