I rode the Surly to Mt Calvary's parking lot to meet Jeff H and the Veterans Adventures. Five of us left the lot, Jeff H, Patty, Steve, Dana, and me. We were joined on the trail by Alan. I talked with Patty much of the ride up and back. We stopped at Upstate Provisions for brunch. I had Pissed On Eggs and a cup of tea. Steve went to Sunrift Outfitters to have his front disc looked at as it was really squeaking. While riding up the trail we saw a 14 to 16 inch snapping turtle on the trail, an 18 inch copperhead, and two grey rat snakes (one dead and one on the trail). I saw another rat sakes dead on East North Street. I also ran into Kimberly on the paperclip and talked to her for a minute.
