Ride Description: Day 5 TdN, from West Point to Platte Center. Killer of a day. Hills, with loooong ascents, short descents for 40 miles, then turned south for 24 miles with a dead straight south head wind. Along with a slight incline for most of that miserable 24 miles. Started out in the rain, which was nice and cool. It heated up along the last insane stretch...can't wait to do it again next year!

Oh yeah, I was so tired that when I stopped on the shoulder for a much needed break and drink of water, I unclipped right and leaned left. Even though nobody was around to see it, I have a slight dent in my helmet, a bruise on the side of my knee from my handlebars, a bit of road rash on the other side of my knee, and a sore neck from it being hyper-extended. Always wear your helmet!!!!!
