Today I tok off to get in a few weekend miles. I rode down to the park then turned south on the trail and caught the Y trail. I took it to Cleveland Street and followed Cleveland back to the Swamp Rabbit and headed north. I followed the trail to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and stopped to eat. I had biscuits and gravy, a cup of coffee, and an oatberry shortbread. I also bought a pair of cheese puffs to take home - one for Cis and one for me. I downed my water bottle and refilled it there. Then I rode north through Furman, Travelers Rest, and to the cemetary north of TR. I turned off the trail there to make my way via Lindsey Lake and Bowers to Tubbs Mountain. I rode up Tubbs Mountain and cruised down the downside, but got off at Lindsey Lake and went back to the trail. I stopped there and finished off my bottle again. Once in TR I filled my bottle and headed down the trail. I stopped at the Cafe once again and downed my bottle once again. I also hit the water cooler pretty hard while there and filled my bottle again. I rode back to the park and downed that bottle for the final time then hit the streets for home.
