This morning I drove to the Cafe to meet the Swamp ROMP. Ten of us left the Cafe to ride - Joe, Bob, WIlson, Barbara,Terri, Linda, Arnie, Shelley, Art, and me. We rode up the trail stopping to regroup at the pocket park and the Furman railroad car. We gathered one last time in Travelers Rest. Seven of us decided to ride to the north end of the trail while Terri, Barbara, and Wilson headed south. They thought that we would catch them since they ride slow. I knew better than that as they would have a 30 minute head start on us and we had a couple of slow pokes in our crowd. We rode back down to the Cafe. Linda left us at the point and we rode down to Hampton Station to eat at White Duck Taco Shop. I had a BBQ Carnitas Taco, chips with home made queso, and a soft drink. I ran into Dennis Z from work who recently retired. When we finished there we rode back to the Cafe to end the ride.
