It has rained off and on all day today but late in the afternoon it looked like the rain would hold off to get in some miles. I took off but the wind was really stout. I was riding into the teeth of it all the way up the trail. Falls Park was clogged up with a play down in the bottom and a concert at the TD Stage, so I had to go around it. On the trip north I saw Kristy leaving Duke's Doggs. She had closed up and was headed for home and we waved across the way. At the north end of the trail I downed about 1/2 bottle of water and turned south. The wind was a little crosswind but it was pushing me back down the trail, but it died about 3 miles south. At Furman I turned onto the campus and rode a loop around Swan Lake on campus to knock off one of the boxes on the Bingo Challenge. I headed on south to Linky Stone Park then turned back north and rode to 1/2 mile south of Furman to get in some miles. Then I turned back south and rode to Cleveland Park and had called Cis to come pick me up there, so that I wouldn't be riding home on East North at dusk.
