Weather Conditions: Overcast to start the day, sun came out with high puffy clouds later on. Wind the last 16 miles home, plus a few bits of it here and there. Blew my 16.5 mph average I had going.
Ride Description: South road to Cozad (Hwy 21) to Eustis->Farnam (Hwy 23)->Gothenburg. One nice hill and another smaller one between Cozad and Hwy 23, and some nice rolling hills between Eustis and Farnam. Wind hit me just as I turned north to go the 16 miles back home. Came right up the canyon and drove me nuts. Called Russ to tell him where I was and not to worry about me... no service in the canyon! So, since his phone rang and he could see it was me, but couldn't talk to me, what happened? He started worrying. Had to wait for about 8 miles before I had service again. Needed 7 more miles to get another metric century, but I just didn't feel like doing it. This was a tough ride, but dandy dandy dandy!!!!!
