| Weather Conditions: Started out fairly cool, warmed up nicely so we got a good sweat going. Humid. Overcast. Very little wind. We are going to pay for this nice weather one of these days. |
| Ride Description: Saturday morning group ride with the 2 Karens, Ralph, Jeanne, Craig, Cody (new rider) and Brenda. Bike path to Dadaocheng Wharf (with David's shortcut to bypass the peninsula thrown in for good measure) and a bit beyond...to just past the stone arches. Great time, good ride with everyone. Stopped at the bike shop on the way back because of my ongoing cassette issues...a new dude working talked to Sean and both agreed I need a new cassette since the chain was replaced. Duh...I told Sean to do what he needed to do the day the chain was changed. Now I have to take the bike back in the middle of the week since they didn't have an 8 speed. Thought about upgrading to the 9 speed, but didn't feel that spending $500 was a good idea! |
