| Ride Description: Finally, a ride to add! Sheesh, what with the heat here and a cold that also blessed me with vertigo AND tonsillitis, riding has been non-existent. Took myself out toward Dadaocheng Wharf. Passed Ralph heading back to Tienmu before the old barrier spot, he turned around and rode with me for just a bit. I adjusted his saddle for him on the new to him road bike. Strong legged fellow! Bet he flies when he gets used to it. I went on a little ways, but turned around when the bike lane was too congested for me. Coming back home, once I got onto the streets, the congestion continued. This was a Linda Blair ride...I needed every bit of 180 degrees in which to scope out all manner of traffic. Had a few close calls, but made it home safely. And haven't left the apartment at all since returning! |
