| Weather Conditions: Rain never materialized, just a bit of misting when we were almost home. Pretty windy though, with nice puffy clouds, a bit of blue sky, and some good gray sky as well. Around 70-75°. |
Ride Description: Short 7 miles around Chung Cheng->Chung Shan->Tienmu a couple times before meeting others at TAS. Karen J., Heather, Tammy (new friend of Heather's), and myself. Out to Tanshui, then ferried over to Bali, out to pier to view Fisherman's Wharf, around museum, back for donuts and juice, then back to Tienmu via the red bridge. Stopped at the Guandu bike shop and bought a back pack hydration system. Nice ride...got to see Taiwan through Heather's fresh eyes. Boy the hybrid is heavy, but certainly nice on the cobblestones.
