| Weather Conditions: Other than the strong winds, it was a glorious day for a ride. Lots of blue sky, intermixed with some clouds. |
| Ride Description: Jeanne, Karen P., and I did the river loop. (Guandu, over red bridge, bike path left, then hither and yon until we get to the pedestrian bridge by the temple, then over Taipei Bridge, through traffic to Dadaocheng Wharf.) Replaced Jeanne's flat rear tube just before the pedestrian bridge, and our friends at the Dadaocheng Wharf bike shop got it seated correctly by jiggling on the stem. That must be a man thing, if it's not fitting correctly, give it a jiggle. Gotta try that next time. Once that was done, and Karen had on her new hot pink helmet, we set off toward Tienmu, took David's shortcut and had Jeanne back to school right on time. |
