Late this morning I took off on the Surly to ride up to Furman and back. I rode through the park and cut across town to get back on the trail at Linky Stone Park. The park and the trail were both very crowded since the weather is moderate and it's a holiday. I rode to the Cafe and stopped for a bite of late breakfast. The Cafe was packed so I bought something from the grocery side. I bought a couple of blueberry scones (one for me and one to take hone for Cis) and a bottle of Liquid Gold Tumeric Milk (a concoction of coconut milk, tumeric, ginger,honey, and black pepper.) I headed on up the trail but I was suffering from a bad case of DLS (dead leg syndome.). As I approached Furman I needed to use the restroom so I turned to the lake and the public restroom there. The restroom was locked and marked out of order. I rode to the baseball park and used the restroom under the stands. Then I headed back down the trail. It was very crowded and slow going. My legs were toast, so I called Cis to meet me at the Hudson Street parking lot.
