I drove to the cafe this morning to ride with the Swamp ROMP. Nine of us left the cafe - Joe, Kathy and her daughter Jay, Wilson, Bob, Jeff, Seneca, Dee, and me. Jay took off and left us riding from the cafe and she waited for us at Furman. So I took off with her from Furman and rode to Travelers Rest. Once we were all there we decided to ride out to the north end of the trail. I took off and rode to the north end while the rest stopped at the Sunoco station. We rode back and headed to Up Country Southern Provisions Bakery and Bistro. I was back first, so Jay and I took a short cut there. While waiting for the others she and I talked about soccer. She plays soccer, so I related what she is doing to what Kristen used to do. Once the group arrived I had a (Hill)Billy Cheese Steak: Roast Beef, Havarti, Provolone, Red Peppers, Red Onions, Chipotle Mayo, on Honey Wheat Focaccia with chips, a pickle spear, and several glasses of water. I also had a delicious jelly roll and bought a cinnimon bun for Cis. Riding home we dropped Jeff off on the north side of Furman. I sat at the back of the group through Furman then headed up through the group and where I chased down Kathy then chased down Jay. I stopped at the Pocket Park and waited for the group while Kathy and Jay took off. While there Paul from stopped to talk. The rest of the group pulled in, but Dee left while the guys talked. We finally left and rode back to the cafe.
