| Weather Conditions: Temp? High 80's, maybe. Felt pretty humid. Had some wind in different places along the way, but nothing too major. Sky was overcast. |
| Ride Description: Jeanne, Craig, Karen J., Karen P., and myself out for the Saturday leisure ride. Went out on the Grand Hotel path, had to get out on the street near the end of the path because there was a rollerblading race going on. Went to the end, came back, convinced the guys in charge to let us get on the ramp to the bridge so we could cross to the other side of the river. From there, headed toward home. Got distracted at Dajia Wharf with bikes, people, cameras, etc. They were gathered there for Taipei Bike Day. Didn't hang around too much, crossed the bridge and headed on toward home. Karen, Karen, and I stopped at the two little bridges to wait for the mass of bikers, but they never showed, so we just all went on home. Nice, social ride today. |
