Ken and Jean to Slater Drug
I rode the Trek to Furman by passing Cleveland Park and riding across town. Jean texted that she thought the weather was too iffy, but I texted back and she decided to come. I was there early, so I went in Starbucks and got a café au lait. Jean showed up and we chatted while waiting for Ken. He showed up and off we went. We took Roe Ford to McElhaney to Keeler Mill then Keeler Bridge to 186 to Marietta. we went in at Slater Drug and chatted a good bit while Ken and Jean had shakes. We came back on Bates Bridge/Bates Crossing/Pleasant Retreat to Tubbs Mountain Road. We got on the trail, Ken got off at Furman, Jean got off at the Furman RR car, and I rode home by way of the trail, Butler, Atwood, and East North Street.
