Today I met Jeff at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. He wanted to ride south and check out Green Forest, so we started south. When we got to Falls Park it was closed to bicycle traffic because of Fall for Greenville. So we headed back north and rode to Furman and circled the lake. We did a lot of joking about the responses from oncoming riders, joggers, and walkers. Jeff has a paper to write for school, so he didn’t want to ride far. We decided to ride to Furman then get some food at Fall for Greenville. But when we got back downtown it was early for lunch, so we called it a day and I told Jeff that I’d eat at home later. I dropped Jeff off at Linky Stone Park then headed up the the streets to Old Buncombe Road to Furman. I rode the Loop de Loop and finished around the Lake then took the trail back to the Cafe where the truck was parked. I met a new couple in the parking lot and talked with them for a while before putting the bike up.
