Today I left home a little after 3 on the Trek to do the Sunday ride. Leaving that late let the trail traffic settle down north of the cafe. The traffic in town looked awful so I rode around it an didn’t get on the trail until the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I rode north up the trail and got off at Watson to get a couple of hills then brought McElhaney back into town and took the trail to the end. I turned back at the end, but there was a couple there having a friendly argument that was amusing while I was getting a drink. He wanted to stop at 53 miles and she wanted to get 62 miles. She said a metric century was a "point of pride." I rode back to TR and stopped at the TRee House and had a fruit cup and a decaf au lait. I talked to Reagan and Kristen and waved at Gene. I did my normal loops at the end.
