This morning I rode the Surly on my route to work to see if I could climb those hills. I made it to work, but it was a struggle. I determined that if I could get there in under 45 minutes that I would feel ready to ride to work. It took me 45:51 to get there. Once I was there my legs were pretty shaky. The ride home didn't seem so bad, but it took me 52 minutes to get home. I know that the short stretch up 291 was slow with debris. I'm not ready to ride to work, but I can make it and I should get better.
