You should post your journal. I'm sure a lot of members would love to see how you've hung so many miles this year!

bummer. Heal well. I busted up my hip (no break) in 1977 and it started hurting again last year. Ouch.

Sorry to hear about your fall. I went down in May and broke 3 ribs, so I can sympathize with you at least some. I hope and pray for a quick recovery for you, and that you are with us again soon. I always enjoy keeping up with you top 5 riders, you all are kinda heroes to us mere biker mortals

Glad you're back on the bike! But take it easy, don't over do it.... be safe....

Sorry to hear of your fall. Hang in there and get back on that bike as quickly as possible. Don't let that jarhead catch up to you (LOL).

I'm an old guy from manahawkin and I have been watching your journal and have been awed by your milage and speeds. I was so sorry to see the red cross by your name. I ride with a man from Harvey Cedars who has also recently broken his hip in a bike fall. His journal name is Ibiguy. Maybe you could comiserate with him. He has ridden over 100,000 miles this decade. God bless you--flyinfatman

Good luck with the hip. I fell 5 weeks ago and broke mine, still with a cane but getting there. Your condition going in will help.

Wishing you The Best of Luck and A Very Speedy Recovery..

Hurray!! The Red Cross is gone! I've hated to see you slip down within the top 5 - looks like you'll hang in there after all. Good for you! Happy Thanksgiving, and safe riding - warm regards, Yvonne

I don't usually look at other riders journals, but the #1 rider with all those miles got may attention. And then I saw your note about your fall and injuries.

I was so sorry to see that -- you seem to have a great attitude about it (back on the trainer!) and I wish you the best in your recovery.

Sincerely,

dcurrie, Space City Cycling Club, Houston TX
