I left home on the Straggler and rode to Verdae then to the Swamp Rabbit Café to meet the Swamp ROMP. O saw 3 deer on the trail then I ran into Bill. I had mistimed how long it would take so I was going to be late. They were about to leave when I arrived. So four of us left - Mark, Elizabeth, Sally and me. We had ridden very little when Dave caught us. We rode slowly up the trail to Sidewall Pizza. I had a roasted salad with bacon which was very good. Once we finished the group all went different ways. Elizabeth forgot that her jacket was in my pannier, fortunately we caught her before she was too far away. I caught Dave leaving TR and we rode together back to the café. I went to Due South Roasters for a café au lait and a coffee cake for Cissi. Then I rode across town to Verdae then up to Legacy Park. I headed for home but stopped on Hillside to talk to Pat. I stopped at Clare's and bought a frozen ice cream sandwich for Cissi.
