I rode the Trek from home out to Woodruff Road where the Green Line is closed. I went down to Woodruff and found a lost cyclist looking for the trail. I rode back to Industrial and got on the trail there. I rode it north to Furman where I looped campus and stopped at the amphitheater restroom. I took OBR to Watson back to TR and followed the trail to WHRE. I took Lindsey Lake to Pleasant Retreat to Bates Crossing to Coleman. I took Tubbs Mountain back to town. I got stuck on Tubbs with a cement truck making a 25 point turn! I stopped at the TRee House, where I saw Ragan, then Gene. I talked with Morgan a good bit until my food arrived. I had scrambled eggs with bacon and sliced tomato. Then Kristen came out and we talked a bit. I put a cinnamon roll in my pocket for Cissi and had Morgan top off my drink with ice and water. As I was leaving TR I heard my name. I went back and Kristen was at the light. Just south of TR I saw Ken and Mark going north. I rode to Due South Roasters for a café au lait. I talked with a couple and their young kids there. I rode back across town, but Main Street is blocked off, so I had to get around that. I rode to Woodruff Road to push my miles over 50, then climbed the big hill. At the top, I stopped in Chris' driveway and a pair of Hispanics were taking a break at the street. We chatted for a good bit about riding. When I rode to East North I was nearly run over by an electric bike running 15-20 mph on the sidewalk in a blind crossing.
