I rode the Surly today all bundled up for the first cold wave of fall. I rode through Cleveland Park by way of the former dog park and the Woodland Way Circle loop. I went through town and took Washington to the Hampton Avenue Bridge and took the Orange Line at Hampton Station to Old Buncombe Road. I took it to the Lakeview Link then got back on the trail. I rode north to the end of the trail, while taking my long loop around Furman. I stopped at the TRee House on the way back and had a cafe au lait and bought a triple chocolate muffin for Cissi. I talked with Rachel and Madison at the TRee House and showed my Peanut M&M jersey to Madison. I rode south from there and I saw Ken riding north at Roe Ford Road. I rode on down the trail and took my normal route home. I saw Pat and his boys going down Hillside and talked for a few seconds. Later I was almost to Circle when a car tooted at me and a little 5-year-old voice yelled at me and they passed me.
