Today Bill and I left his house and headed for the trail. Behind 1st Baptist we ran into Lou S and said "Hello!" We stopped at Linky Stone Park for a drink and Ken and Steve Y stopped to say "Hey!" They had ridden to 3 Oaks Grill, but it closed at 11 on Saturdays. So they ate at Up Country Provisions. I talked to them for a bit while Bill headed up the trail. I hustled up to catch him. We left the trail just before we arrived at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and cut across Sans Souci to get to Velo Valets. Once there we worked Bill and the trike inside the building and got Bill out of the trike and into a chair. Carlo was there with Jason and we talked for quite a while. The whole time Carlo was going over Bill’s trike, making adjustments, tightening loose things that had worked loose, and straightening out problems. Then Carlo took the trike outside to adjust the gears and chain give it a test ride.
We left Velo Valets and cut across Sans Souci to get back on the trail and ran into Bo. I introduced Bill and Bo and we talked a short time, then headed back. The rest of the ride was uneventful as we made it back safely.
