Ken and Steve put out a flyer to the Spinners for a ride to Duke's Doggs then climb over Tubbs Mountain. There were around 40 or 50 of us when we left the zoo. I dropped to the back of the pack to watch for stragglers. Eventually Susan was back with me and we sat at the rear of the field. Once we reached Duke's Doggs the line was well out the door. I decided that rather than wait for so long that I'd ride to the north end then over to Tubbs Mountain and over it and back to TR. Once I got back to Duke's Doggs Susan and Steve were just finishing eating and about 25 other riders were gathering up to go. I put in an order for a Brat with kraut, onions, and spicy mustard with fries, and a drink. Kimberly had stayed at the shop to study her medical studies and she wasn't feeling well enough to climb Tubbs. I finished my food then rode back to the Furman campus in time for the baseball game. Today Furman beat Marist 13-3 in a laugher. We hadn't had a laugher in a long time, so it was good to see them win like that.
