When I dressed to ride to work this morning, I didn't give much consideration for this evening's ride, thinking it would be a little warmer - wrong! I was surprised when up pulled up the weather website just before leaving work to come home and seeing the current temp was a few degrees than when I rode to work this morning. The rain this afternoon has moved out of the area, but I didn't look at the radar map before shutting down the computer - I didn't have the rain jacket on (which I brought with me, but didn't wear this morning) when I walked out the door, but stopped & put it on before leaving the parking lot becuase of sprinkles that were falling and the chilly wind that was blowing.
Traffic was pretty light even for a Friday - I left work about 30 minutes later than normal, but I think a lot of St Louisans also left work early or didn't go to work with today being the home opener of the 2011 champs! Too bad the Cards lost today.
