I left the house this morning headed to Petco to take care of the Feline Lifeline cats. I took my old work route to Ridge Road then cut through the ICAR to get to Petco. Mac is the only cat in there today, so I cleaned his cage and petted and brushed him in the play room. Mac doesn’t care to play like so many cats do, but he wants to be loved.
I left there and rode back across town and took Cleveland Street through instead of Parkins Mill and East Parkins Mill. The section of the trail that reopened on Friday was closed again, so I had to detour again. I went to El Thrifty Tacos for lunch on the trail but they were closed. So I went on up to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with chocolate milk and a blueberry muffin. I also bought a second blueberry muffin to take home for Cis.
From there I rode toward Falls Park, but crossed the walk bridge across the river since the park had been so busy earlier. But the path through is closed, so I detoured around the Peace Center then took Falls Avenue to Camperdown Way to get back to the park. There was a police car that had stopped another car on Hillside Drive that I climb up. Once I was in my neighborhood I stopped to talk to Mr Navarro and also to Miss Kelly.
The GPS didn’t turn on between Petco and the SRC. I had told it to resume, but it didn’t. I told it to resume at the Cafe and it did.
