I picked up Jeff and drove to Easley to ride the Doodle Trail. The ride there was fairly uneventful. We talked quite a bit and Jeff filled me in about his life before the accident. Then we drove to Mt Calvary and parked in their lot and rode to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I had a tomato, bacon, avocado salad and an unsweetened iced tea. We rode back to Jeff’s apartment then I rode back up the trail. I circled the lake at Furman then rode to the north lot at Furman. I stopped there and talked with an older fellow and his dog for a good bit. I rode back to the cafe and bought a package of banana chips covered with dark chocolate, an oat-berry shortbread, a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie, and 4-pack of cane colas, and a 16 ounce chocolate milk that I drank. Then I rode to Mt. Calvary’s lot and drove home.
