I rode the Surly from home to Cleveland Park where I looped the old dog park then Falls Park and cut up to Washington and stopped at the post office to pick up Erica. We rode out Washington then across the Hampton Avenue Bridge. We went by Hampton Station and took the Orange Line back to the trail. We rode up the trail, then did a loop around Furman. Erica got stuck climbing the hill on the back side of campus. We rode on around the lake, then up the trail to the north end. We turned back and could see that it was raining to the south. It started to rain on us while we were north of Furman and rained on us all the way to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. We were soaked and Erica had mud up her backside. We rode to the Commons area then cut up to the post office. Then I rode home from there, but I had left my blinkies on the charger at home. I use my blinkies at the end of every ride, but I today when it was getting dark I was riding without them.
