I picked up Bill today and he led us on a 7+ mile ride. We did his neighborhood and also looped Gower Park. He is slowly making progress. After that ride I drove to the parking lot off of Hudson Street to get on the trail. I rode up the trail looping the lake at Furman. I turned around across from the creperie and headed south. I stopped several times going down the trail. I spoke with an Indian couple in TR about renting bikes at Sunrift Outfitters. I spoke with a couple at the Furman railroad car. While there I called Cissi to meet me at the Cafe. I also gave a little girl my rag to wipe the sweat out of her eyes while at the pocket park. Cissi was at the Cafe and we split a roast beef sandwich with chips. She had a ginger ale while I had a fig grape breakfast smoothie. Then Cissi had a blueberry scone while I had a piece of peach slab pie. I rode from the cafe to the truck stopping once to talk with a family that I had passed a couple of times. It was hot today and I had a chatty ride.
