Today I drove to the Cafe to ride from there. I parked there and headed north and relized that I was pedaling into a stout wind. I rode north and te trail was really crowded. I rode into Travelers Rest, then continued north but got off the trail at the last intersection before the cemetery. That put me on Duncan and is an easier way to get into my Tubbs route than what I have been doing. I was really fighting the wind getting there, but once I turned up the mountain I had a boost from the wind. I rode back into TR and continued south on Old Buncomb. I followed it to it's south end then worked my way to Kinky Stone Park to get back on the trail. I rode past the cafe and up to the pocket park at Sulphur Springs then turned back south to the cafe. I put my bike up and went in for a late lunch - a Sasquash sandwich with mustard, fried okra, ice water,and an oatberry shortbread.
