Today I took off to get in my Friday ride to Duke's. I headed up the trail and into TR and went on out my route to Tubbs Mountain. I went up and over Tubbs, but felt like I was really struggling. BTW, I am enjoying the new saddle. I rode back into TR and stopped at Duke's. I had a turkey dog with turkey chili, mustard, onions, and jalepeños. While there Kimberlly came in and we ate together and talked for quite a while. Then we rode back down the trail and into the park. Kimberly was parked at the zoo and I rode home from there. I noticed it was getting dark in the east. Right after I was home a hard storm blew in from the east (our weather always comes out of the west) and it was very violent. Our power was knocked out and has been out for about 5 hours. Cis and I went out for a drive and the power was out in large sections of town and there is a lot of tree and limb damage around town. We were nearly home and were flagged down by a woman that was yelling that she was having a stroke. We called 911 and got EMS out there. First she waws having a stroke, then she thought that somebody had spiked a drink she'd had, then she thought that she was having an allergic reaction. Once EMS was there Cis and I went home. The power was still out and it just came back on at 1;20 a.m. What a crazy night!!
