Today Steve and I met at Shaw's Pharmacy to get a ride up and down the trail. We rode East North over to Cleveland Park to get on the trail. Today we were fighting a fairly stout wind and we were just toodling along while we were talking. We rode up to Travelers Rest then on out the trail. At the cemetary we turned off and followed my route to the base of Tubbs Mountain. We rode up the mountain and took the big drop down the mountain and back into TR. We got back on the trail in TR and headed back south. We met a lady hammering a mountain bike 4 times today. We met her when we were riding north, then she passed us when we were riding north, then we met her on Jamison when we were getting to Tubbs Mountain, and finally we met her a final time when we her riding south. We stopped going south at Furman to get a drink at the fountain and refill our bottles. Then we stopped again at the Cafe and I had a sweet tea with a peach scone and I bought a second scone for Cis. We rode back south to the park and took East North back home.
