I rode the Surly from home. The underpass on Richland was closed, so I had to climb the big hill to Washington to get to Cleveland Park. Seven of us met at the Swamp Rabbit Café, but one left early. Officer Mike asked if we'd ride by for a public service announcement, so we did that. Then 6 of us left the Café and headed north - Kathy, Sally, Elizabeth, David, Erica, and me. David recently moved from Charleston and he is a very slow rider. I stopped to help a couple during the ride through Furman. He had a tag-a-long with a kink in the chain. He needed some tools to work on it. We rode to the Monkey Wrench where I hd sliced brisket, broccoli salad, and pickle spears. Riding back I stayed with David. Sally lives outside of TR. Erica rode with me back to Unity Park.
