Today I rode from the house to the tennis courts at Cleveland Park and met Mark, Don H, and Ken to ride up the trail. Ken promised a ride with alternate routes on the ride home. We rode up the trail but my chain locked up in Falls Park and I nearly fell into the boulders. I got out of the pedals in time to not fall over. We headed on up the trail only getting off to circle the lake at Furman. We turned around across from Sunrift Outfitters and stopped at Upcountry Provisions for a snack. I had a Still Country (Salad): Angus Beef, Sauerkraut, Cranberry Chutney, Avocado, Horsey Dressing with potato salad and bought a chocolate croissant to take home for Cis. We finished there and headed back down the trail, but the traffic was too heavy to take an alternate route back. We stopped for a picture in the Cancer Survisors Park and headed for home.
