This morning I drove to Cleveland Park to make a quick jaunt up and down the trail. I stopped to take pictures at the SRC, the north end of the trail, and the lake at Furman. There were some odd things on the trail today. I rode to the north end of the trail when Cis texted wanting to know where I was. I stopped at the gazebo in TR to get a drink. Once I was on campus at Furman I turned and did a loop around the lake. I was climbing the short but very steep hill behind the lake when my niece Heidi texted "Happy New Year" to me. Once I was back close to Greenville the traffic on the trail started increasing. I was just south of the Cafe when I met a very small Hispanic man running/limping up the trail with hard shoes and wearing a dress shirt with several very large tears in it. He looked like he had been beat up and was running from someone, except nobody was chasing him.
