Today’s ride started at the tennis courts in Cleveland Park. Chris and Becky G were jogging south with their son in a stroller coming off the trail bridge at Willard Street. The Swamp ROMP gathered 5 of us at the Cafe parking lot - Joe, WIlson, Bob, Laura, and me. The ride up the trail was fairly uneventful. I pulled away from the group then waited for them at the Swamp Rabbit Station, Furman railcar, and the Gazebo in TR. We ate at Upstate Provisions and I had the Rest Stop breakfast sandwich (bacon, bacon potatoes, egg, red onion, tomato, provolone, and chipotle aioli on white focaccia) with a cup of decaf and a glass of ice water. I also bought a triple chocolate brownie to take home for Cis. The ride down the trail was much the same as the ride up - but we met Jae at the Swamp Rabbit Station. She was out by herself while Marty and Kathy were getting Jae’s car repaired. The ride ended at the cafe, but I rode on down the trail. I rode over behind 1st Baptist Church to add a couple of miles to get a quarter.
