I met Erica at the tennis courts in Cleveland Park to get in a chilly ride. We headed up the trail and with the chilly weather the trail was relatively empty. Once we passed the Cafe it started to rain lightly for about a mile and a half. When we got to Furman I saw that the baseball stadium lights were on. So when we went on campus, we swung by the stadium and watched the boys practice for a few minutes. Then we rode on the TR and turned around across from Sunrift. We rode back to Furman and rode around the lake, then we stopped at the Starbucks on campus. I bought an African Autumn hot tea and snacked on my bag of mixed nuts and ate my mandarin. We sat inside for quite a while and warmed up. When we left Star Bucks it was raining lightly and it spit at us the rest of the ride. We did stop for a second at the root tree as I didn’t think that Erica had seen it before. Overall, it was a good ride.
