I've had the chance to meet Dave a couple of times, but only ridden with him once. (Though I technically didn't even get to ride with him 'cause I had an injury, I did SAG for him.) He's a good guy and one I look forward to actually spending some time on a bike with.

Pat and I met Dave at the Reunion 2005 ride in Cardston, AB. We rode in the shuttle to the start of the ride together and shared a couple of meals during the weekend. Dave has a great sense of humor. Be sure to ask him to compare and contrast the consitutions of the United States and Canada. This guy will keep you in stitches.

When I planned a trip in AZ and asked for help on BJ.com, Dave came immediatly with good informations and on top of it, he invited, my friend Lucylajolie and I for a ride in Phoenix. So we met May 7th at our hotel and enjoyed a great day on bike shared with Jayne and Dave. They are so friendly ! They prepared for us a grand Tour around Camelback and S... mountains. We enjoyed each and every minutes. We hope now to meet them again in Illinois this summer ! Please Dave and Jayne, if you plan a visit in Quebec, we would be more than happy to scratch you backs as well !!!

March 2008 - Two years later, I was back in Phoenix and once again I met Dave and Jane for my great pleasure ! I had chance to share a ride with the Corvairs and this experience made my week. I'm lucky and proud to count Dave as a friend.

Dave is this incredible guy that seems to always be smiling that wonderful smile; even after completing his first century! (By the way congratulations) I had a lovely time at Reunion'06 with Dave and his wife Jayne. They both are a warm and friendly couple. I hope to meet up with you both again in the future! ((Hugs to you both))

I re-started cycling in November 2002 at age 58 when a medical "wake-up call" caused my doctor to prescribe getting in shape and losing some weight. I have enjoyed it tremendously and I am in much better shape now. (If only I could work on the weight loss too!) I really enjoy group rides and I'm trying to get out for a good ride at least 3 times a week.
