I'm confused about your comment on my profile. I thought I entered 1500 miles as my goal for 2011. I didn't write that I biked 1500 on 1/1/11. Can you explain what you mean?

I ride an average of 18mph. I have all the time in the world and ride daily. Love communicating with other riders. You have heard of "golf widows" My wife is a "bike widow" which she tolerates because she is a cyclist herself. Check out "UPChallenger".

I have been riding 33 years and in those years have ridden a bike more miles than I have driven a car. I was one of the three riders that started the Team McAllen Saturday and Sunday rides and Team McAllen itself. Back when I was a bit crazier, rode 306 miles in one day (part of the Spenco 500 race). Today I ride for fitness and fun, usually 5 days a week. |
