I left the house late this morning to ride with Ken and some others. I rode out the new section whch was blacked after Woodruff Road, so I took the exit and worked my way to Industrial to cross Laurens Road. I took the Laurens Road Bypass to get to Cleveland Park. There I saw Mark and John waiting, then Ken came and we left. We were doing Ken's oddball stuff working our way up the trail. Once we were at Furman Ken stopped and talked so long that John left to go home. We started to loop Furman and when Ken headed to the Bell Tower, I went to the restroom. I left there and texted Mark that I figured they were ahead of me and I headed up the trail. I got off and took Watson to McElhaney to Old White Horse Road to Hodgens back to the trail at Grace church. I rode the trail to the north end when Mark texted that they were at UpCountry Provisions. I rode back to TR to UpCountry where I found Mark, Ken, and Steve Y. When we left there Mark and Ken went north while Steve and I went south. We rode together until we passed the Swamp Rabbit Café and I cut away to go to Hampton Station. I stopped there for a café au lait at Due South Roasters and a Crispy Chicken BLT taco on lettuce from White Duck Taco. I rode back across town and caught the new section, but the blockade had been removed. So I rode to Verdae. Coming back to rode with a guy on an e-bike, then with a lady named Bonnie until I was at Hillside. Then I took the big hil home.
