A pre-dawn/mid-morning commute; I have wanted to view the Huffer Road Greenhouse operation for several years. When I learned that a co-worker was employed there I asked her about the place. Quite some time ago Tammy invited me to stop by and see the operation.
Finally today was the day, on the way home I stopped at the huge hydroponic greenhouse on Huffer Road. There I toured the operation where a variety of Salad Greens and Micro Greens were being cultivated. Tammy, one of the Greenhouse workers was busy harvesting some Micros. I had a taste of some of the Russian Kale micros -yum! I met the Operations Manager "Dave", also Tammy's Daughter. I was given a good explanation of the processes involved with germinating, growing, and harvesting going on there. It was all good and tasty too!
