Taking this ride felt pretty good, but I have a way to go to get back to where I was before last Monday...
Monday's dislocation occurrence is having a lasting effect on my mobility. I am making improvements every day. Perhaps by next Sunday I will be good enough to do the 10 Parks Leaf Peeper.
Going the distance is one thing. Being able to keep up with the "pack" is another issue. After seven days of gimping. And after fortifying my knees with neoprene, Capzasin "P", Ibuprofen, Oxycodone, Move Free® Advanced Triple Strength
plus MSM & Vitamin D tablets. I took the Cadenza out for a tentative test run.
The Capzasin "P" was burning my knees after the first 6 miles. Taking the flattest direction in order to avoid any stress on the knees, I managed to cover 14 miles averaging 11MPH.
It's a start. I'm hoping to make a few commutes in the coming week in order to test the left knee before next Sunday's leaf Peeper ride...
