The left knee feels better. Function is adequate in non-strenuous pedaling situations. Unable to stand on the pedals except to float briefly.
Compensating for the left side weakness has been a challenge due to the fact I have become so left dominate over the years.
As the Left knee mends there is a constant attempt to reassert my left side dominance. Compensating for the weakened left knee has forced leading with the right. Particularly when it comes to climbing steps. One expected benefit is a strengthened, more balanced stair climbing ability as the left knee continues to mend.
The ride for next Sunday is still tentative. I will know better after a few work commutes this week...
