It had been a few years since my last visit to the Moose (maybe 2-3 years ago). The last time I had seen it -it was worse for the wear. As a treasured photo stop for many travelers, I had hoped someone would have rehabilitated the Moose and fortified its stump to weather the elements...
Today, on a ride with Bob D., we went to the stump's last known hangout, and the Moose was nowhere to be seen. The Moose was gone but not forgotten!
