What a pity I could find no-one interested in free molds. Some of these molds are unused from the 1970's. Having bought out a ceramic shop more than a decade ago on a dream, reality has set in. I will not realize the old dream. I have moved on. Donated the 2 Kiln's to Hilton Central School district.
Nobody seems interested in the molds. Not even for $0 cost! Thousands of dollars worth of molds. More than 750 individual 2, 3 and 4 piece molds. More than 650 unique designs. Not only thousands of dollars in value, thousands of pounds in weight.
So they are being destroyed -tossed into a "roll-off" trash container, along with the residue from our bath-remodeling project. It's no small feat, what with having to move the molds from 7 custom built racks and at least 10 storage boxes filled with small molds. The biggest molds weigh more than 25 pounds. A wasted dream but it's time to move on...
