Bought new tires for the Cruzbike.
Unfortunately, I could not buy the same tire as a replacement. The Performance Fast City ST/K tires have more than 4000 miles on them. They have been fantastic wearing and handling tires. They are not available with the flat protection Kevlar belt right now. Additionally I wanted a bit more aggressive tread for limited Winter biking.
I found a tread design that looked road and trail worthy. The brand is "Serfas", Drifter/dual sport/city tires, 26x1.5" with "super hard 69-durometer-rubber compound, and an integrated armor casing. The tires are .250" of an inch wider and 65 pounds max. air pressure. (25 pounds less maximum inflation than the Performance tires.) Additionally the inverted tread design should offer decreased rolling resistance.
